"The highly anticipated Prime Rib Night - a first at Mordidas and under the auspices of Roger of Alaska Diner fame went off without a hitch and the slow roasted Prime Rib came out perfect - medium rare or a tad bit more if you asked. Tender and flavourful - accompanied by a brilliant cob of yellow corn and mashed spuds and a delightful gravy - perfect for us on a night with heathy appetites. We had several of the house Sangrias - tasty, well blended albeit a tad on the sweet side. The house made brownie awash in chocolate sauce, cream and cherries and accompanied by a coffee was a perfect end to this meal. Recommended. So nice to see Roger doing what he loves - and as he says that's what his cooking is all about."

"We only stopped in for a couple of drinks but enjoyed it immensely. The general demographic was seniors in for dinner and everyone was enjoying the resident entertainment. He sang a variety of songs with a large proportion of Frank Sinatra which seemed to suit the audience just fine."

"I bought the Cupocity coupon, seemed like a good deal and we like to try new places. This did not disappoint. It is easy to find -- right beside Los Muertos Brewery. It is clean, newly furnished, and is set up to provide lots of tv viewing if you are a sports fan. We had the burrito/fries/wine on the coupon offer and it was delicious. Very hot and flavourful. We also checked out the menu, and it appears to have a broad spectrum to appeal to most folks. My husband was very impressed with the selection of beers -- he had an amber ale that he really enjoyed. The service was great -- the manager made a point of coming over to introduce himself and welcome us. We will definitely return and plan to recommend this great find to our friends as a fun and friendly place to visit when you want a casual meal."

"Opened just recently and offering 2x1 Ribs. Sides are extra - order what you want. We went with group of 18 - called ahead to let them know we were coming. Service was excellent - food was more than enough - and sides are a decent size portion and good price. Music was a little too loud....but they turned it down on request."
