"This place has decent food, even good depending on the items you get. It has a smaller menu with plenty of choices, which is always a good sign. The main thing holding this place back is the service provided and the atmosphere created by this. It feels often like it is an Adam's residents only place, as even if you are from the nearby area you get stared at by all the customers. You also get ignored by the waitstaff as they sit and talk with the other people. It is not always like this, as there is a nice lady there who is very attentive and friendly, but we have only seen her once. A couple odd things are the children being used to work the bar. I can't really complain about how a kid throws down your food or silverware so casually when a kid shouldn't be in such a position. Learning responsibility and helping out is one thing, but I've seen them in there every time. Additionally, there is a rather crude joke above the restrooms about how women are on the left because men are always right. I feel like a misogynistic joke really does not create a welcoming environment to me and my friends (we are all women. It's probably made very light-hearted and I can't say it reflects on the owner, but it's in poor taste regardless. I'd recommend this place if your own local tavern is closed, because Across the Trax is open almost all week and later than most places."
