"I ordered a jerk salmon Johnny Cake sandwich, a macaroni, greens and fried catfish Soul Bowl, and two Holiday rolls. One roll was vegan, which contained mac and cheese, cabbage and cajun corn. The other roll was a holiday roll which had chicken, dressing, and mixed greens with turkey. The Johnny cake and salmon sandwich was pretty decent with the jerk ranch sauce. The catfish fillet was delicious as well. Unfortunately, the holiday rolls were cold on the inside and full of grease. The greens would have been better but they have way too much salt in them. Hopefully I will be able to go back and have a better experience. The jerk ranch dressing was amazing!!"

"I read about both trucks in the paper recently and tried both today after a bike tour of local landmarks with DecayDevils.org. They were fantastic! (The tour too!)At “Cracked The Egg Came First” I had a veggie egg sandwich and it was amazing! I see why this is a successful chain in Illinois. Try it. You’ll love it!Same at Blacktop BBQ. I had the brisket with greens and cabbage (Carry out for dinner tonight) and they were great!"

"So I’m kinda a seafood junkie I won’t lie, but this was not it. I’m not being funny or capping but I did not have a great experience my lobster tail was over cooked my crab didn’t taste done. Then if your making a seafood pan the water from the corn shouldn’t be in the butter and sauce if it haven’t been drained. I’m sorry but it wasn’t good for me. If I could get a refund that would be suitable. Also seasoning would be appropriate for a platter!"

"Definitely recommend! Must admit when we arrived that I had second thoughts about going in, but I am glad that I did because the chicken cabobs were amazing and a large part (I ate much more than I should have). I just wish I had arrived a little earlier so that we could also try the brisket (they just ran out before we got there). Easy access from I80/I90. Be ready to eat in your vehicle as there is not really an indoor dining area."

"This is the place I took my wife for her first gyro, 30 years ago. This place is still going strong! I come here for either gyros, tacos or the Vienna Polishes. This time I can't hear you for some tacos all ground beef 2 flour and 1 corn for just $4.75... I know it can't be beat! And they were hot fresh and delicious! I place my order over the phone and it was ready within 10 minutes. That's what I call a great service!"
