"Took a long time to have my order taken. Took exceptionally long for food to arrive. When it did, I only got one of the three dishes ordered. So basically, the first dish sat and got cold. I asked the greeter to send to manager to my table which did not happen. I had to go up front and find him myself. Manager tried to appease me by giving me an extra order of chicken fingers. When the rest of the food did arrive the order was wrong. Long story short, absolutely no tip for waiter."

"Incredible place: former dock with unimaginable high ceiling and exposed brick walls. Fantastic vibe and very warm. Like a family house atmosphere. Also the service is very friendly and Hudson River view is lovely. Food is pretty mediocre here. The gumbo wit h a bell pepper. Sort of new-york-state disgusting addition to the New Orleans soup. The smoked meat also just a meat with out any moments of joy."

"On my first visit a band was playing and although they were good it was much to loud for a dinner party of 6... We really had a hard time conversing as we could see the mouths moving but couldn't hear a word the person was saying. For a while we joked about it and ended up moving our seating as far away from the band as possible.. The service and the food was very, very good and well worth going.. Then we went back the following day, no band the place was very comfortable and again tried a few more different items on the menu and absolutely loved everything we ordered.. This I think has become my husbands favorite place for the best taco's ever! Oh yeah, try their street corn... Yum, yum.."

"Will never go back here! Our order came with multiple mistakes wrong salad, missing side to a meal (which we mentioned twice but it still never got brought out), overcooked steak and appetizer got brought out after we finished our meal and were getting ready to leave. "A special thank you Juan and Cheryl ! The food at Black-Eyed Suzie 's Upstate has been consistent since the East Village establishment in the 90 's in NYC. The flavors and variety are always on point . The staff, atmosphere, store design, attention to detail on take out items and the polite atmosphere always make going there a fun time. Eat in or take away. May i suggest the Fried Chicken and Kale Slaw, in my opinion it is the best in the Hudson Valley !"

"I've been working at Mother Earth's in the produce section for about 2 months and it is by far the best place in the area to get cooked vegan food as well as fresh produce. We only stock organic produce and it is very high quality, and the cooked food is diverse and there are always plenty of options. Try the portabella lentil burger. We also sell discounted produce by the case and usually have spotty bananas."
