"Unfortunately, Im very disappointed in my experience with SLR. I recently moved to the area and my best friend whos local said this was "the best ramen ever" and I wholeheartedly disagree. First, the Crispy Rice with Spicy Tuna and Pork Bun were both absolutely delicious and I would absolutely eat those again if for any reason I eat at SLR again. The Shoyu Ramen on the other hand was disgusting to me. The Shoyu base had no soy sauce taste to me, and there was a God awful amount of terrible spinach wilted throughout; Ill take the blame for not requesting this be withheld as I hate spinach in ramen, and didn’t read the description closely. There were also several very tough bamboo shoots in the bowl. Overall this ramen was a miss for me, but the pork slice was absolutely delicious!! I will likely try out SLR once more and perhaps dine in, but if youre a Shoyu lover like me, maybe skip this one."

"Walking up to this place, I was so excited. Beautiful waterfront view overlooking Lake Washington, cozy interior and a warm welcome from the staff. I'm sorry to say that the food didn't match the rest of the experience. We ordered the pepper appetizer which seemed like a good choice based on the description, but proved to be an odd flavor combination and made us both a little queasy. We decided to play it safe for dinner, I ordered roasted chicken with vegetables and hubby ordered grilled prime fillet with grilled vegetables. My beautiful roasted chicken was drowning in this sugary orange sauce that overpowered the entire dish, the stuffing was also overwhelming, and the vegetables were soft and mushy. The prime fillet was fine, it tasted like something you could get for half the price at a chain restaurant. Substituted potatoes for more grilled veggies and the substitution was that weird pepper again. The prices on this menu led me to believe this would be a local, farm to table kind of place but the food tasted musty and was poorly executed. Our server was phenomenal, and the view is amazing. I wish the food matched the atmosphere and friendly service."

"Very delicious food! We ordered dinner tonight and surprised to see how tasty and less oily it was compared to many other restaurant foods that we have tried. They were also very careful with allergy specifications. Can’t wait to the different dishes again from this restaurant."

"Not only is the crispy rice and thunfish, pig bell-bunker and ramen delicious, but they are also life-saving. my best friend started shooting and one of the staff came and gave her the secret maneuver. Thank you for helping her! I tried to typ the hired and he refused. many thanks. I know every adrenalin through that dach!"

"My family stopped in for lunch after camping in Kirkland. It's a cute spot. The menu has lots of choices. The prices are high for a family restaurant but we understand everyone is trying to recover from covid shut downs. The server was nice enough. The problem came with the quality of the food. The kids menu is limited with 4 choices for breakfast and 4 for lunch/dinner. He chose a pancake and bacon. The bacon was some of that precooked junk that you just microwave. Yuck. Our daughter had the corned beef sandwich. It had no taste and was a couple thick pieces of what looked to be just ham of a weird color. The best part of our meals were the French fries and the ranch dressing. The salads that came with our sandwiches were literally just lettuce with a little bit of carrot shreds... no tomatoes, no cucumbers.For the $50 dollars we spent we could have went to many places with better quality/tasting food for lunch. It would be a perfect spot for us to stop when we're out that way camping but we'll drive further to get better next time."
