"Our table got the club and the rueben and OMG was it ever delicious. If I wasn’t just here for vacation, I would go every day. The Reuben is seriously amazing. If there was a higher rating than five stars, I would do it. Everyone...who interacted with us had a smile on their face too. Absolutely amazing place. Even if you’re not vegan!!!"

"Like all Mandarin chain restaurants it's a bit on the pricey side, however it does have a good variety. Lots of sushi choices. Staff was very friendly and informed us all about the still ongoing Canada150 food specials"

"We were looking forward to our visit as several friends had recommended Gilt. We visited around 5:30 on Sunday. We were seated promptly and our drinks were taken right away. We placed our order but, despite the restaurant being nearly empty at that time, we waited a very long tune until our first plate arrived. The scallops were tasty. However it was close to an hour before our other food arrived. The open kitchen allowed us to view the staff at work. Verrrrrry slow. Also it didn't appear they were wearing hairnets, etc, so not the greatest impression for those viewing then as they prepped our food. We had the tuna tacos, lamb ribs, stuffed peppers, and the Korean chicken. We liked the chicken and lamb. However, the tuna came drizzled with mustard which was not a good flavor combination. We were undecided whether or not we cared for the pepper dish. All in all, we were disappointed and likely won't return to Gilt due to the slow kitchen service and the actual dishes themselves. For the money, the dishes should be in point, as well as the service. We travel and dine extensively and we know they can do better"

"After hearing about this place from our daughter, we checked it out last year for our birthdays and have been there numerous times since, the most recent being this weekend. They have recently done a really nice reno inside the store which looks great however it seems most people don't eat in, a lot of people have take out. Any time I have been there, they are super busy. Every time I go, I order the rib platter (full one on purpose so I have enough to take home). I am a rib snob so I have pretty high expectations for them. These ribs are delicious and so tender, they fall off the bone, you don't have to gnaw endlessly on a bone. The side dishes you get with them is a ton of food as well. My husband always has something different; meat platter or fish, everything item has huge portions and is a good value for your money.There aren't a lot of beer selections but enough and they have some really good ones from grand river brewery, my favourite being the tailgate. They also have pop shoppe Pop, anyone from the 60's and 70's remembers this treat. The staff there are always fantastic. Customers order at the counter and then the food is brought to your table or given to you for takeout. They explain in detail how to select items for newcomers. Every time we have gone, the staff is so friendly and attentive and have checked on us numerous times throughout our meal to make sure everything is good. This has quickly become one of our favourite places to go."

"Burritos are full of flavour but the last few visits the quality of the chorizo sausage has really decreased. My problems are with the skin or wrap of the sausage. I can't bite through it as it is so thick and end up having to take apart the burrito just to remove the skin. It never use to be that way when they first opened. Do like the taste of the sausage once it is removed but too much work that I probably will choose another food option."

"Came across this once while in Kitchener and I did not regret a single bite! Food was amazing!! I was super upset that this place might have shut down after covid because I could not find it but I’m so so glad that I just found it again! I believe its family owned and operated but I cannot wait to go there soon and eat all this. Had a couple of pupusas, chicken and a steak meal last time. This time will be ordering a lot more! Can’t wait!"
