"I had a Dave's BBQ bowl with Mac n' Cheese and Brisket. It came with a corn muffin. It was delicious! It was almost more than I could eat. A generous portion. I also shared a bread pudding with my brother! It was superb!! It was served on a good-sized platter with whipped cream on both sides and a scoop of ice cream on top!! It was also a giant sized portion, more than enough for two people! The music in the restaurant was excellent country music! Our server was good but a bit too busy to be as on top of things as she should have been. Famous Dave's is an excellent place overall. If you go before 5, you won't have to fight a crowd!"

"Oh my GOSH! I came across a Mexican restaurant in Layton called THE SPANGLISH. The food was incredible. I’m a Latina who felt like I was eating in my mom’s kitchen. I judge each Mexican restaurant by the individual taste of each item. Every bite was better than the previous one. As I continued with my meal, I was surprised at how genuine each item tasted. We were happy to wait a little for our food knowing it was being prepared FRESH. The place was uber clean and decorated true to form that it took me back to my own home with sights and smells of my childhood. I hate to post this review because now all you people that read this will want to try it and it has become MY favorite Mexican restaurant!"

"Just tried their honey Walnut Shrimp and it's fantastic. Hot and fresh.. not too sweet. They're fried rice has a slight Smokey flavor and is really good also."

"Palatable food high price, bad management. I ate here for my 3rd and last time today. Their salsa bar attracted me, but their food lacks taste and their kitchen staff is inept. My order has been screwed up everytime i go there, today the cook changed the type of Quesadillias I ordered. Today was the last straw, I had a coupon for a return visit, and was told I couldn't use it inconjunction with the daily special. The special was half price appitizers, and the coupon was 3 dollars off two entrees My bill was 21 dollars for two for lunch, and with three dolalrs off it would have been 18, the manager refused to honor the coupon which doesn't say not good with other offers. "Today our fourth wedding day and my husband and I decided to try a new restaurant. And I am so happy that we chose Famous Daves, meat was amazing! One of the best I've ever tried. We will spend money! And the service was excellent, Tony made sure that we had a great time there, the service he offered since we arrived was absolutely the best! Thank you."
