"It was good to find this restaurant that serves local specialties in a counter where there are mainly burger bars and fast food shops. we had two excellent lunches. outdoor tables are shaded by large sun umbrellas - very welcome to a hot day. Be aware that the English menu leaves the interesting local dishes and specialities ... they may use a dictionary and study the German menu carefully. I enjoyed wild boar with berries and noodles and at the next opportunity reh with potato puree and carrots, while my man maish chicken in tomato basilikum sauce with mozzarella and then a chicken scavenger with asparagus enjoyed. Among the desserts were strawberries with sabayons sauce, served on leafy, with chocolate ice cream and frozen yogurt as well as strawberries with panna cotta and müsli. the mustbacher johannitergarten reisling at the middle price was a delicious accompanied at both occasions. a small selection of baked can be bought for taking away ... the apfelstrudel is good."

"Restaurant Plaka On this Sunday I had no desire to cook myself, was just the question where to eat. Originally it should go to the city, but we both had no desire. I was hearty. So go to Greeks around the corner. We'll be there for 15 minutes. There are parking lots for car travelers. It was then just before 6 pm when we entered the locality through the small pre-garden. Outside in beautiful weather some people can sit. But no one was out today. There was a lot going on inside. You only have to pass the long bar, behind which a man is diligent beer on the thorn and has no eye for us newcomers. Two other employees also blew past us without words. A third one is bare and offers us two tables to choose from. The place is already well visited at that time. Old age was quite represented. Hardly that we sat a young lady brought us the cards and lit a candle that stood next to two spice mills on the white covered table. Then she let us look. I looked around first. Large tiles on the floor, the walls mostly laid as open masonry, also a space divider behind us as a wall. Otherwise dark wood and some greenery. Typical Greek Kitsch fortunately less. Then go to the map. A lot of choice, as expected. Cold warm appetizers and fry to death plates. Then the grill and pan specialities from the pig, lamb, cattle and turkey. Just a little fish. Some day recommendations and lunches were also included in the typical artificial leather cover card. I went to lamb and the appetizers from the sea also made me appetite. It wasn't like Fräulein today, and she ordered only one main dish. After five minutes, the lady came back to the table. Like the men, she was dressed with black trousers and white shirt. She asked about the order. To my question, what the difference is between Octapus and Kalamarakia , she just meant something confused – “ Kalamarakia are these tubes, the other one’s arms” I could think. Who's stupid? The order was then accepted and no two minutes later a young gentleman with drinks stood next to us. A Benedictine yeast wheat 0.5 3.60€ for the men, a Cola Light 0.4 3.50€ for the lady. Both well cooled and clean gifted. It didn't take very long, no five minutes, so the same guy stood next to us again, this time with a plate in his hand. Octapus 7,90€ In the other hand two small plates, he put one of us on the table. In the middle then the two grilled? According to the map of the grill Oktopus Tentakel. Roch fine, decorative but rather antique. On a sheet of salad a quarter lemon, which I also squeezed out over one of the tentacles. Then some salt and let's go. They were not grilled, rather hot in the frit or roasted in the pan with a lot of oil. To the whole tastefully not a break. The thing was super delicate and had this tempting Mediterranean herbal aroma. So delicious. But also quite expensive as I find. The fladen bread, which was sufficient for this purpose, was crispy-baked, served to wipe the aromatic oil. Delicious appetizer... 3.5* Fräulein bite three times, which is really unusual, normal she is full of squid and co. Short demand when clearing if everything would be okay, came after a good sip of white beer the supplement salad on the table. What a pace... but comprehensible. In the same cycle, new guests came to the restaurant, space has more than 100. The supplemental salad looked neat. Upstairs two Röschen field salad, among them also a lot of iceberg salad. Married cucumbers, tomato slices, herb salad. All fresh, tasty, even the slightly pink finish dressing was acceptable. All in all, good average. 3* Then get to the toilet before the main dishes come. They can be reached flatteringly like everything in the local area and are close to the entrance door. Clean and without complaints. And how should it be different, I come back to the table, Miss grinned one, the food is there... Putenbrustfilet with Metaxasauce small portion 10,50€ In addition to the salad, potatoes and rice served as supplements. Little is different but the lady did it anyway. She didn't have an appetizer this time. The meat was very delicate and juicy, and this time also fresh. We had already got overlaid TK goods... The metaxasauce was physically present. Not tasteful. It was creamy, well seasoned, but taste zero metaxa. No brandy. Just cream and some broth. Would have been the first Metaxarahm sauce for me to earn her name. Potato, here as fried chips and rice ́lecker with tomatoes, peas and unfortunately also corn, were all right. That's all. 3* lamb fillet with fresh mushrooms, cream sauce potatoes and salad 21,90€ I chose a dish from the recommendation card. Five small lamb fillets lay next to each other under the very sawy cream sauce and some mushrooms on the preheated plate and a few well-fried potato slices. The lambs were somewhat fried, the juicy, rusty lacked, tender and well seasoned they were nevertheless. The sauce had a beautiful, creamy taste also the fresh mushrooms contributed aroma. A decent meal at a proud price. Good 3.5* was cleared up again quickly, and then there was an ouzo on the house. He was good, but last but had a better one. The bill came very fast on request, after a good 50 minutes we were out of the house again. Conclusion: Get tired quickly, this is fine. Here's a blow, it's good that the quality of the food does not suffer. Dinner was worth 3.5* this evening. No failures, solid craftsmanship but without a whip. The service is very careful to get rid of the guest quickly. Many guests make a lot of sales. There is not much talk or even smiling, service according to instructions is announced. 2.5* Ambience could be better, but also much worse. After all, one sits quite “airy” in the room and not so close to each other to eat more guests. I like the idea with the open walls. 3.5* There's nothing to say about cleanliness. So good 4* The PLV is ok in my eyes, Pute was definitely worth its price, beverage prices are at Mainz level, Oktopus and Lamb could also be one, two euros cheaper. 3*. I don't have to go back. But it's simple and you get what you expect. No more, no less. And you have to have something like that... 3 – if it results again 1 – certainly not again, 2 – hardly again, 3 – if it results again, 4 – happy again, 5 – definitely back to kitchen trip"

"A very pleasant spot, near the train station and not far from the tourist areas. Inexpensive. One topped baked potato is an ample dinner by European standards. As of this writing, it's all vegetarian with vegan options. The topping quantity is reasonable, so it's not all just potato. Nice outdoor seating, and adjacent to a small park with other little restaurants, bars, ice cream shops, etc. nearby if you want to make a picnic out of it."
