"It’s such a disappointment to write this review. Had a fantastic experience 3 years ago; however the place has completely gone down since. In summary: Mediocre food, below average service, and a manager that took no responsibility or wanted to understand what went wrong suggest book your next event at another local balmoral venue. Bread, oysters, cold and hot starters were brought at the same time when we politely asked for the hot food to be taken away so we could enjoy the cold starters without the hot food going cold we were told the food would ‘dry up’ under the heated lamp… staff was shocked when we asked for it to be made fresh considering it’s a fine dining venue. Waitress was rude when bringing the hot food and saying “take two” before dropping the plates on the table and quickly leaving. Food was average at best, the spaghettini had no flavour other than a bunch of undercooked celery and the Eye fillet was overcooked. At this point we were frustrated with the service and quality of the food, when we gave the feedback to the manager he insisted the food was cooked properly and didn’t see what was wrong with the service… a free dessert is the only thing he could offer. We politely declined the disingenuous attempt to sweeten the experience, pointing out we are sharing our feedback to him so other patrons don’t walk out with a similar experience. At the end he insisted nothing was wrong."

"Very polite staff. Started off with a great long black, ordered the midori omelette and their signature sandwich. Fresh ingredients, such a well thought out menu with all the flavours complementing each other nicely. Would definitely come back!"

"The Acai bowl is really tasty with just the right amount of seasonal fruit and a nutty toasted granola to suit. But my favourite dish is the Japanese chicken bowl, so refreshingly delish! The flavours work well together, and even though it's a light dish filled with green goodness, it's still really filling."

"Great coffee from an old school cafe with a home made ethic. Counting Sheep sits on a corner perfectly positioned to catch early sun. The fit out is ecclectic mismatched furniture, and curios ranging from beach to Asian. This is a spot for locals, not the trendy set. The food is home style traditional Australian quiches, sausage rolls. Tasty, not especially Instagram ready. Muffins and other baked goods are mostly made on premises. The eggs are good, the corn fritters taste good (even if presentation is a bit dated). Staff are lovely, service can be a little slow sometimes, but this isn't a hole in the wall in the city, it's the burbs. Enjoy it!"

"Awesome little cafe nestled just off the main street in Mosman with a menu to cater for everyone! So much selection it actually makes choosing what to eat difficult because it all looks so good. I've actually visited a few times ordering different options each time and I have to say their Acai bowl and corn fritters are delish! I think it's always a good sign when I see a place is packed, and Bloom is always buzzing with people - a true testament to how popular this eatery is. Highly recommend a brunch/lunch here if anyone is passing through Sydney's lower North shore."

"We went here for what was an earlier than usual breakfast for me on the weekend and this place was buzzing! There's a variety of sweet and savoury dishes on the menu. I went for the ricotta and blueberry pancakes. I found the pancakes a little dry, even with the syrup and ricotta. The service and coffee are fantastic!

"Bad customer service. 1. Looking at the kid's menu to order a juice or Ice cream for the kids but the staff suddenly said "this is kid menu, look at the price!" How rude is this? He treated me like a person who does not even know kid menu or deliberately order kid menu to save money or something. 2. This rudeness happened again at the counter when I pay for the table. The male staff did not say thanks. Only word from his arrogant mouse is "pay pass?" He did not mention how much the table was, instead he just showed me the receipt. Then when I finish paying and say thanks to him but he ignored me with grumpy face. This is not only one experience happened at one particular day. I am just telling you one example. The staff, espacially male staff, they have attutude problem and dont know how to treat their customers. Their coffee is good but not to overcome their poor service. Maybe I can still use them only to get a takeaway coffee. Foods are just average. So big NO from me."
