Im Polka bereitet er es dann sorgfältig und originell zu und serviert relativ kleine Gänge, die so günstig sind, dass man gleich mehrere an einem Abend geniessen kann. Es ist eine feine und regionale Küche mit Überraschungen. Das Ambiente des Lokals ist einfach und hell, es belastet nicht mit überflüssigem Dekor und so kann man sich ganz auf die leckeren Speisen konzentrieren, zu denen passend ausgesuchte Weine serviert werden. So was gibt es selten in München: High brow Küche in low brow Ambiente."
