"The food and beer were very good as is expected from Slows BBQ. But I was a little disappointed that the feel of the restaurant wasn't as unique of an experience as the one downtown Detroit. If it's for a special occasion or a date, go downtown. Maybe I just sound picky, because I know they can't all be the same. But my old soul prefers the feel of the original."

"Had friends tell me how good they are. Tried them and my friends were right. Just be careful. Food is served very hot. Also order a extra biscuit or two."

"I 've been here 4-5 times, and it has gotten progressively worse. I won 't be going back after this last visit. Place wasn 't that busy. We were told we could sit anywhere, however almost every table still had dirty dishes on it from previous customers but we found the one that didn 't. Ordered 2 cokes and 2 meals, the meals were delivered but never got the cokes, the bill, or a return visit from the waitress. So we just went to pay at the register where the waitress was. When she rang us up for the cokes and we said we never got them she just said Oh, hmmm not I 'm sorry which would have been slightly more appropriate. At that moment she and I had an unspoken agreement that I would leave without tipping her and never return, and she would not have to face the harsh reality that she is not very good at what she does nor customer focused."

"I was hesitant to go all the way to Waterford for some food, but I'm so glad I did! I had the chicken wing dinner with Yams, Greens, a peach side. The food was so good! Best soul food I had in a while. I called my order shortly after the opening and when I arrived, it was ready to go. The place is very clean, the menu is clear, and all foods can be seen for customers. Great staff and there are even tables for customers to sit while they wait! I'll be back sooner than later!"

"If you want fantastic fish or chicken, check out this place! Try the cat! The chicken teeth were also very humid. Large lunch specialities and dinner combos, and they also offer catering. You seem to be a little short staff, like anywhere else, so just be patient, the food is worth waiting! Also try the tartaric acid sauce, it is house made."
