"Sonic sucks, idk, why I always try to go there. the chicken was so thin, over broth and over boiled. the chocolate chip cookie dough was hard. slushes were watered. and limonade tasted as if the machine had not been cleaned for years. skip this place to all possible costs."

"Never in my 63 years have I seen such a clown show as far as service. Three and a half hours for 3 people with a 4:45 reservation, hoping to eat early and beat the crowd. Yes, it was Christmas, but it was a limited menu and the place is a hotel. You could get a menu, you could get a glass of water. What you couldn 't do was place your order or get what you ordered. It took over 20 minutes to order, then 40 minutes to get a cocktail, then two of us got our salads and the third person 's salad came out 20 minutes later. One tiny woman was carrying everything one or two plates at a time (trays, anyone? while a big useless guy wearing a 'manager ' name tag literally did NOTHING. He talked to people at one table for 10 minutes while we waited for that cocktail. He walked around carrying a menu and never helped anyone. Another guy ran around the room topping off everyone 's (full water glass and did nothing else. Ridiculous for the price and an embarrassment to the hotel. Never again. I live in this town and have eaten everywhere. This was a first. We bonded with the other diners in our corner of the room and heard their life stories while we all waited. Strong thumbs down, not for the food, but for the dis-service."

"The worst donuts I've ever had. they were dry and tasted more than a day old. the child in the inner could not be disturbed to help us and act as it harassed him and it was a choir to help us. we asked for aromen that are not seen, and all that he said was what we have. there should be about 30 or more flavors and we were led to them all. not, everything he said was all we have. not helpful. about it from those were almost $30 for a dozen. drove all the way from abq to be so disappointed. don't waste your time and your money. there are much better donuts for much less and much better service."

"We stopped here to pick up the night's desserts because we were a few minutes late making it to Chocolate Maven and Madame Matisse's hours also got reduced recently so the options were getting slim. I used to visit a couple of the Mexican bakeries in the town I used to live, so I know how Mexican baked goods are different from French pastries, and I've had some really good Mexican pastries. I'm not an expert by any means but I know a lot of Mexican pastries aren't very sweet so you have to know what to get if that's what you want. The shop is pretty small and a lot of the pastries aren't labeled. This made it a bit intimidating to try to figure out what we wanted because we would have had to ask a bunch of questions. They had a couple empanadas that were labelled and a ton of cookies of not obviously determinate type, and some things I have no idea what they were or what they would taste like, and then some turnovers. In general I love turnovers and the sadly now defunct bakery I used to go to in my former life had great turnovers, so I asked what flavors they had... I picked apple and hubs picked strawberry. Honestly, they were just ok. They were just on the border between fresh and stale, they were a bit dusty and as with a lot of Mexican pastries, not very sweet. There was only a tiny amount of filling in mine, not sure about the other. Neither of us was that impressed. Perhaps some of the other items are better, but honestly I think with so many amazing bakeries in town we just need to make sure to get to one of those before it closes and leave this one for those who prefer this style of pastry."

"Visited on a special event day, with a packed restaurant. Service was very good but we felt a little pressured to leave quickly after we ate. Quality of food was excellent. Wine list is fabulous with lots of options by the glass. Planning to come back!"

"Everything on the menu looked amazing, and everything we ordered absolutely was. The Scallop and Shrimp Ceviche was perfectly seasoned, nice fresh lime juice, the homemade chips were perfect with it. My wife had the green chile cheeseburger, which was also perfectly cooked, and the sweet potato fries were perfect. The real star was the tomahawk pork chop perfect medium, the glaze was incredible without being overpowering, the veggies were perfectly cooked, and the green chile cheese grits were literally the *best* grits I've ever had I didn't know grits could be that good! On top of all that, the prices were affordable. We didn't order alcohol, the total for two with an appetizer was around $100."
