"Great all around pub. Food typical. Go for the patio. The only Burlington pub on the water! So if weather nice do whatever you can to ensure you get a patio table. you might have to wait or go very early.Good sandwiches and drinks. Prices reasonable. And staff very friendly :)"

"We are reasonably frequent visitors to this restaurant. They have a good seniors' menu which keeps bringing us back. Last night when we arrived, the server (later learned her name is Holly) warned us that she was the sole server and we should expect a delay in service. We sat ourselves down, accepting the probable delay, which Holly accurately forecast. We had the time to pay a bit more attention to how Holly was coping with the approximately 10 other tables she was serving. She did amazingly well, drawing few complaints while she did her best to serve everyone as quickly as she could, with exceptional courtesy! In the end, we had our usual spaghetti and meatballs dinner which, as usual, was delicious. Let me be clear, this is NOT a very good restaurant. The service is hit-and-miss, and so is the food. The overall rating is fair. And frankly, they do not deserve a server with Holly’s skills and experience. Shame on the owner for not having more servers working last night. He/she will not attract repeat customers with this lack of foresight in having sufficient staff on hand to serve customers! And my advice to Holly is to look for another employer who is more worthy of your exceptional talents!"

"Love coming here. Best chicken fried steak you'll ever have. Massive portions. Great people. The only downfall is that they're more popular than their seating can accommodate so sometimes the wait can be a little long. Well worth it however."

"We are stranded in burlington due to a delay in flight, but the good news is the hotel where we lived, had a cozy restaurant downstairs. they were very busy when we arrived and they were shorthanded, but the staff was absolutely incredible! pink our server had at least ten tabs at a time and nod the manager was amazing to support the server and barkeeper while staying very gast concentrated. we saw a teamwork that we had not seen in a very long time in a restaurant. the food was also before place. great work on this team. highly recommended!"
