"Went here with a large group for a work event and the venue was very busy with other large tables. Even with the backed venue the staff was quick with service and the food arrived on time with no issues. We were very well looked after. The food was well portioned and reasonably priced. Really enjoyed the sticky toffee pudding but the apple crumble was a close second. The starters were really good and not too filling. The chicken supreme was very tender with crispy skin. Overall the venue was warm and tables well spaced out. The toilets were very clean considering how busy it was which is a good sign. Would definitely go back"

"Came here for a guiness or two in the evening. There was a live band and the Guinness was lovely and smooth. It was a good atmosphere. We returned the next day for the All day breakfast. It was a decent meal and again there...was live music. We were also given a free hat and badge. I love a freebie so I was happy Yes it is a little pricey at nearly €7 euro for a pint of Guinness but all the bars are like that in that area. You're paying for the craic as well as the drink. And it is worth it."

"Friend stayed I meant them for dinner so didn't see the rooms myself but food was not great at all chips tasted like they where frozen and fish was soggy inside and underneath tartar sauce was like milk. Staff where very nice so can't put it on them that's all I can say."

"We celebrated my parents Golden Wedding Anniversary in the Maples with a meal for 30 people food was fab thanks to Catherine and her team. After dinner we went to the bar we’re they were very good to reserve seats for us. Great night had by all highly recommend ,also a big thanks to Patricia who looked after us so well and another lovely lady whom I didn’t catch her name ."
