"The sandwiches were really nice. The soup was great. I tried the hot corned beef. It was fresh and good. The person who took our order was helpful. However, it was hard to hear since there were a lot of people working behind the counter, yelling back orders. And it was hard to hear when they called our order number. I asked for napkins because there were non in the bag. The lady that I asked just yelled at someone else to get her some napkins . So food good, inexpensive. Service, okay."

"The food we order was great. The Turkey meatloaf was very good, and the fried chicken was very good very well seasoned. Love the green beans, and potatoe salad as well as the coleslaw the dessert was very good. I have place to go and injoy a great meal."

"Ordered from here alot, place is a hit or miss depending on what you order. Burgers Good value for price and not greasy, definitely worth trying. Sweet Potato Fries Amazing. Beef Sandwiches Good but portions could be better. Chicago hotdogs Solid meh, can be much better. Chicken tenders They use ACTUAL FRESH chicken but they dont season it at all, major wasted potential there and easily fixable if they choose. Grilled Cheese Criminality terrible for price, no excuse. All in all still better then alot of other food places in Joliet."

"This place was horrible! My husband and I were both sick later that day. His waffle was cold, sausage must have been spoiled! My skillet looked like dog foot, presentation was horrible! They burned my pecan roll. The experience was terrible! I wish I couldgive no stars! The waitress was nice and worked really hard!"

"What a rare find. Ordered a philly steak and was astonished at the quality. Fresh soft french baguette style bread loaded with the most delicious tender steak, perfectly grilled onions and peppers, couldnt have asked for a better sandwich. I dare say its better than the famous philly cheesesteak i had in philly. I cannot wait to head back west on i90 so i can stop in for another one. 8.50 for the sandwich with fries great deal for the size and quality of that sandwich"

Open for Breakfast and Lunch only, ?The Joliet Route 66 Diner? located in Downtown Joliet, just 2 blocks from the Harrahs casino. My first impression was of how IMMACULATELYCLEAN the place was !! and the decor comfortably fit the theme of the diner. The waitstaff was kind and accommodating, with theunderstanding that they were very short staffed. The selections offered on the menu were plentiful and abundant at a veryreasonable price and this place is kid friendly too. If you?re looking for a comfortable spot to have breakfast with a group orby yourself at the comfortable 14 seat counter or a quick take-out lunch this is the place. enjoy!!"
