"Platform 7 was intended to offer a beacon of hope in the relative blight of apropos coffee houses in this part of Kitsilano. Having inherited the space from its prior Sex-in-the-City tinged occupants, it seemed poised to take a huge leap forward in terms of style and substance. Instead, it's been relegated to the likes of an off-season outpost for ski bums addicted to 90s hits played at a deafening volume. More importantly, despite the ambitious pronouncements of the staff, the specialty coffees often suffer from mediocre execution."

"As a coffee lover, I have tried many, many, coffee shops all over the world. Apart from Italy, this is my absolute favorite place for any espresso drinks. The food is awesome here too! I love the breakfast wraps with potato in them. Sooo good. Although this is a chain, each one I have been to feels like an independant little shop and the quality is always there."
