"The site is lovely and the facilities of good quality. You can sit in a glass-walled dining room and be surrounded by fine views of verdant fields, rolling hills and distant blue mountains. Service is OK too. On the day I ate there the food did not show to best advantage. The bruchetta and salads were pleasant and the pasta better than average. However, the marinated lamb was almost black and dripping in oil. Several in our party did not finish the dish and at least two of those who did suffered acute stomach upsets thereafter. The dessert cupcake looked good but was dry and crumbly. Given the beauty of the setting I wish I could say better things but I am not inclined to want a return visit."
