"This was our first visit and it will not be our last. I had the venison special and it was out of this world. We tried the lobster bites, the ed too tall jones, and the calamari, all exceptional. The calamari was especially excellent. Then the Banana cream pie for desert. OMG!!! Absolute Heaven. The service itself was top notch and we never had to search for our waiter once. A definite recommend for locals and out of towners looking for an Italian"

"We went to La Masseria for dinner before a show on Sunday, 1/22. They did not disappoint!! The service was excellent, friendly and welcoming. The ambiance is perfect for fine dining, and not chaotic like many restaurants in NYC. We were not rushed and the meal was perfectly paced. It was NYC Restaurant Week, in which they participate. They have a full wine list. We started with appetizers Mozzarella Farcita Dello Chef ... absolutely delicious. We also ordered Fried Calamari and Shrimp, tender and golden crisp. For entree, we ordered the Scialatielli alla Siciliana, fresh short cut fettuccini with eggplant and fresh mozzarella in the most delicious tomato sauce. Perfection! The grilled salmon over grilled zucchini and mustard sauce was also excellent ... moist and flavorful, lighter than the pasta. Don't miss the Tiramisu for dessert! Topped off with the perfect cappuccino. Wonderful meal and highly recommend!!"

"Called during lunch time for a pickup order. Yes, I know the busiest time of the day. A woman picked up the phone and was very nice and accommodated my request. I wanted the frutti di mare pasta but I don't really like scallops and calamari. I just wanted shrimp and muscles and for them to make my pasta medium spicy! Well, she was able to give me just that. Made me very happy. She was very nice and patient with my order. Excellent customer service. Place is really cute, nice and cozy. Prices are a little more on the higher end but you cant beat the quality of the food. Pasta was delicious. I will definitely come back for lunch and this time I'll bring my posse with me."
