"Our friends from Minnesota requested a lovely restaurant with good food and quiet atmosphere. Cafe Europe fit the bill perfectly. Our waitress, Megan, was great and enhanced our evening. Our meal scallops was delicious, but we had to send them back to reheat which was disappointing. But overall, a lovely evening"

"Do not get the steak special because there is nothing special about it. Only a slap of stripe steak completely unseasonal. Worst steak I've ever had. My wife's chicken sandwich was also dirty. Fries were extra fat and limp. The service was missing. He was very nice, but decent. No water refills when empty and never checked for food again. I worked for almost 20 years in restaurants as a server and that was one of the worst. I felt so bad for him that I left over 20% because I thought he probably didn't do anything on tips nearby."

"Let me start off by saying this is one of my favorite places I've eaten at in the entire Kansas City area. It has a hole in the wall feel but has good music and a nice vibe to the bar. They have allot of beers on tap and even more in bottles. They have a small outside section that is pretty nice as well. The service was very good as she was attentive and made sure our stay was great. My wife and I started with the jack Russell each. It's a hot dog with smoked Gouda cheese, bacon and Mac and cheese. The hot dog with Mac and cheese was delicious and the fries had very good seasoning also. I ordered the 10oz strip steak and got cottage cheese. The steak with the butter and garlic was amazing. Will definitely come back again. Would give more stars if I could."

"We were excited to try a casual restaurant near our friends’ new home. They have a nice menu with some healthy choices. The shrimp wontons were very good and my petite filet was also quite good and cooked perfectly. My husband’s pasta dish arrived lukewarm but the kitchen replaced it quickly and he said it was delicious. Service was friendly but very very slow. It took some time to even get a drink menu and it took another 20 minutes to get our drinks. There were many servers and the restaurant was not particularly busy so I’m not sure what caused the problem."
