"It wasn't our first choice today. We were going to another place. The line was very long and we decided not to wait. We went only 5 minutes away and found Rusty’s. Why there is no line here. I will say that the land fried steak on the menu was my personal hook to get me into the door. We went in and the place has character and was joined with love. A beautiful young lady set us up. Melissa became our server and the dinner was a perfect start. Even when we came in, I noticed that they had cookies so I had to try it out. As a chef who grew up in Oklahoma, you know that I can make a cookie that is thrown down every moment. Rusty didn't disappoint me. Yes I ordered my country fried steak. Wow a place in California that doesn't think that's something you're pulling out of the freezer. The Brussel sprouts we are crisp and very tasty. The other plate we ordered was the BBQ Brisket. OMG, that was an exit storage lane. I just know you can only get this on Wednesday nights. This was on site and extremely tasty. Melissa told us about all the other wonderful things we have to try. We have a group of friends coming together Friday night and guess where we will go!!! Thanks to Rusty and Melissa for eating one of our new favorite places in San Francisco. It is within walking distance for us. We save space for the Banane Putting on Friday night!!!!"
