"Jess and I had our usual incredible meal at Vintage Year tonight. The cheese board is always to die for. Tonight was Wilaby, Mt Tam, and Great Hill Blue; always perfectly curated with a wonderful balance of salt, sweet, and cream. Add in the wonderful fig jam and I could make a meal of this alone. She had the VY burger which is always incredible and I ordered the Venison Denver Steak. The Guajillo pepper rub was a perfect compliment to the light gaminess of the venison steak. The spiciness was balanced by the parsnip purée, and the sautéed Brussel sprouts, sweet onion, and crisp sweet potato slices. The always incredible service we received from Jennifer just reminded us why VY has always been the standard for dining in Montgomery."
