"We were coming through and staying close by headed for vacation. Menu sounded great so why not...so glad we tried it. Pot roast, shrimp and corn chowder, and fritters for the win. Add in friendly staff and a clean, inviting place and we left with bellies full and a good start to vacation."

"That was good. We were on a 15-hour drive from Florida back to Maryland and my husband wanted some southern food. He got fried pork and I got the country fried steak. The greens were excellent. That's the Macn cheese. Sweet tea was on the spot."

"The food was good, but the service was bad. Six employees were over at a girl's table (that was around their age) and sat over there the whole time we were at the restaurant. Our waiter was over there and we would have to get his attention for him to come over if we needed something. It was pretty unprofessional. They were all yelling and using profanity. Our service was slow due to our waiter sitting down and talking the whole time. There was only one waiter that was actually doing his job correctly. You could tell he was working hard and taking everyone's slack."

"I am sorry to read ppls ticky Tack babified reviews here, so I will first say the staff was super friendly home country ppl, the food was perfect from the Briske to the ribs to the Bbq beans and potato salad and even half chickens. I'd give them 10 stars if they let me. Everyone who complains here must go to Sonny and then they will have something to complain."
