"Excellent experience. Visited Dishoom quite a bit lately because it’s such a nice experience and the team at the Covent Garden base make a point of remembering who you are. Every experience has been consistent in terms of excellent food (tasty, decent portion sizes, spot-on temperature, nice tableware), customer service (friendly host, server, bar-person), value for money and ambience. A server accidentally spilled something on my friend’s jacket and was immediately on the case to resolve the concern. The host swung by straight away to handle the situation and explained the process where they’d pay the cost of dry cleaning. Very impressed by the swift response to this and felt at ease afterwards to continue enjoying our meal. I’d book ahead if you can because waiting times can vary (between 15mins to an hour). They offer free masala tea for those who wait in queue, which is a nice touch. It’s very noisy so be warned"

"Service here is fantastic for such a busy place, there are plenty of people looking around to take orders, deliver the food and clear up. We had a voucher with a fixed menu and really enjoyed the starters and desserts. My carbonara was plain, but smoked salmon tagliatelle was better."
