"I had heard a lot of good things about this restaurant. The menu is pretty extensive with a Mediterranean approach to a mostly veggie heavy menu. I had the eggplant, fresh mozzarella, roasted tomato, olive tapenade, pesto sandwich which came with a choice of salad or fries which I had my waiter decide which I would get. I'm glad he chose the fries. They were obviously made fresh and perfectly crisp on the outside, fluffy inside .It is advisable to stay near the doorway before entering. Someone will ask if you are eating or just looking at the menu, which is displayed in front. It was not the greeting I anticipated.The room itself was extremely loud, so no quiet serenity at least when I went which was lunchtime.There is a large communal table in the center of the room which I sat at though truthfully, since I was on my own I felt the front of house would have preferred I sit off in a corner. This made me feel weird and until my waiter came (who was quite nice), was quite off putting. So I sat in a conspicuous spot.Despite the initial rudeness, the dish I had was exceptional. I will definitely go back and try more of the menu."

"I dined here with my friend last night Pre-theatre at 6 PM. The ambiance is lovely with pale blue walls that emphasized a nautical theme. The tables are not crowded together and we sat in a comfortable table with a white table cloth for 4 even though we were only 2. There is a separate bar section. The food was very good. We shared a delicious crab cake as an appetizer and then my friend had branzino with well seasoned spinach and a mix of other vegetables. I had salmon which was delicious also with a mix of vegetables. We shared a dessert which was limoncello and mascarpone cake with whipped cream topping. It was scrumptious ! It was a lovely dinner and I highly recommend it."

"Cozy spot with AMAZING home made pasta. Had the Fregula with mushrooms, shrimp and salmon in spicy garlic and olive oil sauce. Great combo of flavors and all ingredients cooked perfectly. Also had the Primavera focaccia- bright flavors, huge portion (8 x 12” size. Nice wine list."

"Find Il Vino through online reviews and it did not disappoint. Let's start with the service very friendly, helpful and attentive. Truly exceptional. The food was great and everything we had was tasty. Sunday night features a wine special that is a great deal. All the little things were handled with care and we left very happy with our meals. Lastly, the ambience was lovely. Cute little place, touches throughout mimic the old countries. This is a wonderful place for a night out with a few friends, or a quiet meal with someone special."
