"In the past. was busy, but we had a very short waiting time to get a place. large menu for selection. menu all on a plastic coated sheet. loved the old book-style menu better. the food was fresh, hot and delicious. server was super friendly, attentive and fast. great choice to entertain from the city guests. many tvs are tuned to sporting events. Strawberry limonade was refreshing. look forward to going back!"

"Wife and I stopped for dinner. The fish and chips special , was super fresh and delicious. Wife had the equally delicious pulled pork. Our waiter was top notch . Fully recommend stopping in for dinner."

"The valet is somehow in the middle of the road, but worked. the place was too behaved, and tables were close, but even after a date on Monday they could bring us to a beautiful private table. the waitress was very friendly, polite and helpful. it was the birthday of my wife and they gave us a dessert (a dessert) on the house. the presentation of dessert and the main dishes were great. eating was great, the sides are huge. we ordered the laugh that was amazing. the lobster risotto was ok, I had expected it with more taste and less heavy. we have kartoffels and we spit out the brussels. they were delicious. overall it was a good experience, but I was not in the love with the first impression how crowded the place was, and the dishes we ordered could use some improvements."

"Been here twice now. Let me tell you what brought us back for a second visit besides the delicious food. My nephew has a severe nut allergy and because of this his family doesn't normally get to eat out due to the risk of cross contamination from nuts in the kitchen. After speaking with Chef Phil, he offered to personally prepare our meal to ensure its safe handling. This is the type of above and beyond service that will make his place a huge success. In addition to the Chef being very accommodating, the entire staff is very friendly and helpful. Paolo and Matticus in the bar are a delight and our server tonight was Cassie. She was as good as we have had at a restaurant in a long time. Definitely recommend this place is you are near Custer in the Frisco/McKinney area."

"Sadly, we heard heard great things and saw great reviews before we went for our anniversary celebration. Tournedos were undercooked/raw for medium temperature we requested. Both this and the blackberry filet were covered in very very very salty seasoning. The blackberry was almost unrecognizable but helped cover the saltiness. The asparagus was barely blanched, definitely not cooked. Service was great. Owner and staff really worked hard to make it right but we won't be coming back."

"This will be one of our new favorite go-to restaurants. I do not know how we have missed this place being locals! The drinks, food and atmosphere were perfect. I had a Friscopolitan to drink- perfect for summer and yummy. The deviled eggs and homemade rolls were my daughters favorite, and mine. We ordered steak and chicken piccata. Both were fabulous! Save room for dessert. The chocolate silk pie is heaven. It is probably the best I have had. Such a cute place with outstanding food and service. Will be back soon! The bar is also cute. Small and cozy when you walk in. May have to sit there next time and learn about how the place came about. The house was built in 1917 and has been several things."
