"Location: comfortable, beautiful location in downtown houma with lots of parking (either off road or much on the back). menu and food quality: always updated with daily and seasonal specialties. large selection of starters and escapes are all exceptionally prepared with mouthwater presentations. great cocktails with home brewed exceptional beer. more creative expression in eating and drinking. art des restaurants: brewery. price: about $20 30 per person for dinner, depending on whether they have drinks. clientele: single diner, couples, large groups, families including children. it is a great first date and a large group restaurant. atmosphere: clean, pleasant. When they get in, they feel comfortable immediately. obviously it is a work of love. service: interesting staff who knows the menu of food and drink as well as the daily specialties. they are attentive, friendly and punctual. this is a restaurant that should try all locals, as well as those who visit and or close to the opposite. I would recommend spigots blackberry jalapeño wings, crab cakes and the flattop quesadilla for appetizers (they are big enough to serve as a meal if they have no great appetit). build their own burger, grilled pork dog and maple chicken for entrees. brot pudding, cream brule and chocolate beyond ground for dessert."
