"Best Catfish AND Biscuits along the coast!. I love Catfish! My GrandMa's was perfect and all others are measured by hers....Last night we had dinner at Lakeview and I was pleasantly surprised! I had all you can eat catfish and my hubby had the seafood platter. They serve biscuits and coleslaw while waiting for your dinner and Oh My! The biscuits are really delicious, light and fluffy on the inside. The cole slaw is good, it's has a strong sweet relish flavor but it's not overpowering. Our dinner came pretty quick and was nice and hot! When I saw the catfish I knew immediatley it was gonna be good!! It was thin and had crispy edges...just the way I like it! I tried one of my hubbys shrimp and a few fried crab claws first! The shrimp was excellent, crab claws...a little over fried. Now the catfish...OMG! It is the 2nd best catfish I have ever eaten! Like I said it was not the big thick fillets, they were medium size and thin around the edges, dredged in yellow cornmeal, seasoned just right and not a bit greasy! Really delicious! I also had a baked potato and it was actually cooked all of the way..soft and fluffy, It was all I could do to the the 3 pieces of fish that came on my plate...they offered to bring me more but I just didn't have anywhere to put it!!! My husband wanted a little dessert so we split a piece of Key Lime Pie...it was just your average frozen pie, nothin special but that is OK because you don't need dessert with such fabulous catfish! I cannot believe I have lived along the coast all of my life and I have never eaten here...I will definitely go back! SOON!"

"My husband and I were looking for a quick bite to eat, over in this area. I saw that this place had fish, which I love, and burgers, which he loves. But unfortunately it wasn't that good at all. I ordered fish and chips, and a burger to go. It only took about 15 minutes from the time I placed our order online until we got there and I will say that service was friendly, but we did have to wait about 5 minutes before someone noticed us. Once we told them why we were there, it didn't take long to get our food. As for the food, that's where I get disappointed. The fries had no salt on them at all and of course we didn't have any with us. But I understand why they don't salt the fries, not everyone like salt and they have salt on their tables. The fish was covered in a bland, no flavor at all batter. It reminded me of funnel cake batter, but without any vanilla. Just tasted like oil. It would have been nice if they made their own batter or at least added some seasoning to the batter they use. I will say that the fish didn't have a fishy flavor and it was cooked well. Which is a plus. As for the burger and fries my husband got. The burger was over cooked and was a lot smaller than expected. It was edible, but definitely not something he would ever buy again. We may try this place again if over that way, but only because I really want to try their crab cakes. I wish that I could order just a crab cake instead of the full dinner. But using their website to order, that was not an option. I will also add that adding extra items like lemon or mayo to my order wasn't an option. It would be nice if they had either a comment section or an add on section. But that's just me nit picking. All in all, I doubt we will be returning to this place any time soon, but I can't say that I will never return.
