"We went with another couple for my Birthday. Each couple ordered the Dinner for two. It was awesome! Started with your choice of appetizer and salad. (generous portion of salad for each of us considering it was called a "shared" salad.) The meal was Steak & Lobster. One of the best steaks I've had in town and the lobster was big (unlike what you get at many other restaurants). I like that they still do the individual heated butters. There was a choice of side potato but we opted out and got extra veggies instead. (mushrooms, zucchini and broccoli). Now I don't normally like cooked broccoli but whatever they put on it was delicious! For Dessert you got your choice of anything from the menu. We had the Blueberry cheesecake which again was a very generous size and very good! There were fresh buns served to the table as well. Great atmosphere and service. Prices are high so I would recommend this to anyone who wants a nice "Fine Dining" night out or who is going out to celebrate something!"

"I've been here for supper a few times and loved it. We went for lunch and it was less great. Price was decent and you could still eat all you want but the meat, in particular the prime rib, was quite tough. Nothing lived up to how good my supper meals were there. Service was very good. There are signs of the place becoming run down, torn seats and veneer missing from table edges, etc."

"I am so happy that Saskatoon is part of my work territory (especially in summer) so I can visit Poached throughout the year. This time, I was there on Mother's Day dining by myself but surrounded by love and great food. This visit I tried the crab cakes which were filling and rich, so much so I could only finish one. I love their tomato and pesto side that comes with every meal and as I don't eat bagels any other time of the year, even the bagel is delicious. Washed down by a london fog and mouth watering orange juice, it was another great meal at Poached. So good that I took my co-workers the next day and the next and am looking forward to my next visit to Saskatoon and Poached. Go early to avoid line ups!"
