"First, realize this is a buffet style restaurant, in which you pay one price, and eat as much as you can (extra charges for leaving food on your plates). You don 't get up and get it. Servers come and take your penciled order paper and fill your food order. I do suggest that servers ask patrons if it 's their first time in the restaurant, and then explain how things work. Ken, our server, was great, and food came out relatively quickly. Also the price of the food is very reasonable, especially if you have a big appetite. Now about the food...probably the best sushi I 've eaten in North Carolina (within 30 miles of Cary)since I 've been coming for visits in 15 years. I almost gave up going to sushi restaurants, as I 'm spoiled by the quality of sushi where I live in Orange county, California. Also, the atmosphere is more upscale , and the seats have cushions. So many restaurants have hard seating nowadays! My only real complaint was that the music they were playing in the restaurant was very loud. But after asking the server to turn it down a bit, he did that immediately and all was good. Overall, I highly recommend Mr. Tokyo."

"They have by far the best bubble tea on Franklin Street. I go to Asian cafe once or twice a week and sometimes it's just for the bubble tea. The staff are also great."

"I've been coming here for years. The food used to be good. Not so good the last couple of times. Today, the Singapore-Lomein noodle dish was just rough. The noodles were muddy, the chicken texture was not pallable and the spices were subpar. We won't return. There are many more Asian restaurants in Carrboro/Chapel Hill."
