"Joke of a place booked a table in the morning for 7 people all confirmed for 5.30. At 5.30 was told no tables , I said I spoke to someone in the morning who confirmed this , they said it was a delivery driver I spoke too and shouldn’t of picked up the phone , so 3 very disappointed children and angry wife"

"I learned about this place from an IG post. I was so excited at first, the display looks very welcoming, long wait, etc. Unfortunately, I found it pretty overrated. I did not find the meal very satisfying and also a bit hard on the price. very unique. never seen a pack with a huge yorkshire pudding."

"When you been hanging out for a @mrcrackles hit for so long, then you finally make it, you know you have to devour The Crackles Classic. <br/ With that crispy delicious crackling that after the first bite made me think ‘why did I take so long to make my way out here?’<br/ Now this place is a must try!! The bread is so crunchy and soft it soaks up that lovely, juicy pork fat and the crackling, oh the CRACKLING!!!! I seriously wished my stomach was a bottomless pit. I couldn’t get over how good everything tasted together. "The last Time I was in Rose Street was in 1964 when I worked in Edinburgh and visited Rose Street with Friends from Work so it was Lovely to be back after All those Years. Found this Gem of a Place while walking along Rose Street and wanted a quick bite to eat. There was a Counter on Right as You go in, Refrigerator on Left with Cold Cans of Drinks in it and Two Round Tables with Chairs Inside and Three Tables and Chairs Outside. There is a Wide Choice of Sauces to choose from to go with the Pork and Sandwiches were available if You wanted instead of Rolls. We ordered 1 Brown Roll with Pork and Apple Sauce and a Can of Lilt and 1 White Roll with Pork and Cranberry Sauce and a Can of Diet Coke. We sat at the Table at the Front Window and watched the World go by while enjoying the best Pork I have tasted in a long Time. There was that much Pork on the Large Rolls that We could not finish them waste not want not We wrapped what was left and took them Home to Eat later! Total Cost £9.90 Cheap at Half the Price. The Young Man who served us was also Lovely and it was quite busy while we were there at about 12. Would definately Visit it again the next time I am in Scotland."
