"Delicious Asian-Californian fusion menu, very creative. Very nice and accommodating staff (under new management). Fun food, fun decor. Half of us in the party were vegetarians, so good food to share. They even made a special vegetarian soup for us (on a Sunday afternoon)."

"My crab cake was just okay. It had a sourness to it. Maybe too much lemon mixed in? The risotto wasn't as creamy, as it was sticky. The vegetables were limp and overcooked. I didn't eat them any more than to taste them. The quantity of food was very good. The peanut butter porter was outstanding!! Great little waitress. Very friendly. I liked what the menu offered; American fare, nothing unapproachable. The soups were good. The pimento cheese spread was good and a nice free starter. I'd go back. Although the food wasn't brag worthy, it certainly was good. A decent, friendly, clean, moderately priced restaurant in the Haymarket area. The name threw me off, though. Culinary, to me, meant it would be unique and maybe high end style meals. Underground also, to me, said something unique and maybe even so good I'd want to keep it a secret so the place wouldn't get so crowded and I could always get it. The food was more on a par with Applebees. Still. A decent place downtown."

"The food here was good and so was the service. Although there are reservations required for tables, but none required for the bar. The servers were very friendly. I had the 5 course meal. The Korean fried chicken was delicious and so was the flight chicken. I would go there again."

"Had high hopes, however the sushi was just kinda blah.. really didn’t taste fresh. We ordered the sald it was cut in huge pieces to where we couldn’t even cut or bite it. Our son chocked on it because he had difficulty swallowing it. Our waitress was really sweet, however we were extremely rushed.., like they kept bringing plates of food that wouldn’t even fit on the table."
