"I ordered bakery surprise bag at this shop by Too Good to Go app. I got one baguette, sourdough ciabatta bread, several hamburger buns , white milk loaf, one biscotti and one small blueberry pie for only ~6$. All the bread are in very good condition and taste delicious. The service was also very prompt at this store."

"Nice local coffee shop. Another recommendation from a local. Service was great and the food was good (lemon coconut square). Coffee was good too, but nothing special. Loved the atmosphere here it was like the Cheers of coffee houses people knew each other by name, which was nice."

"Earlier this year I developed a penchant for a cute little cafe called Vivanty's near my work place that serves up unique and fresh salads and soups. So ever since then, I've been on the hunt for similar places in Vancouver that offer light and fresh meal options, and boy have I found a good one! Originating as a catering service for film crews and casts, Truffles Fine Foods has recently opened up a cafe on Davie St. in Downtown Vancouver (and another location soon at the Anvil Center in New Westminster). I visited the place a while back and today I want to share with you some of the things I nommed......."

"This is a small bakery located on Broadway, near Alma. They specialize in breads and danishes, the latter of which they offer in over a dozen varieties I had their Cream Cheese, Almond, and Butterfly Custard danish, and also a cheese croissant for my mom. While I wasn't blown away by the danishes, I did still quite enjoy them. The prices are also fairly reasonable, and the staff I met was very friendly. This is a shop that's worth a visit.<br/ <br/ Cream Cheese Danish $3.25):<br/ 3.5/5<br/ The outer layer was tender and had a more chewy, bread-like texture and was covered in a sweet glaze. The cream cheese lent a nice bit of tang; I do wish there could be a bit more of the filling however.<br/ <br/ Almond Danish $3.25):<br/ 3.5/5<br/ This was covered in a sweet glaze and contained ground almonds and was topped with almond paste. Again, the danish had a bread-like texture and was mildly sweet. I really enjoyed the almond paste, which provided a nice fragrance and flavour.<br/ <br/ Butterfly Custard Danish $3.25):<br/ 4/5<br/ This contained custard and strawberry/raspberry jam. The pastry, which was similar to the two previous danishes, contained some sugar, which provided a nice bit of crunch.
