"Visited Messina for the day. Stopped here for lunch based on TA reviews. Ordered Sea Bass, pasta with Figs and another fish. All were prepared nicely, albeit the fish a bit salty. Portions are quite small versus other restaurants in Sicily. Although the experience was nice and service friendly, would not return and would try other 4/5 star options! So I guess it was ok, not bad and not great"

"Food was decent and so I was willing to look past the hostess/boss (the person that sits at a desk and usually handles the money) staring at my EVERY move (every fork move, every sip of my drink and pretty much every blink while talking to the waiters about me. When the bill came I saw they had charged me for the digestive shot they offered me which was strange in itself, but then I saw a 13 euro charge for a large beer I ordered! Lol... All and all my plate of food was 11, the beer was 13 and I had every line and freckle on my face scrutinized, analized and talked about throughout my entire dinner..... didn't know I was that interesting..."

"Bad service! After ordering, the wait was endless, even having a bottle of water was a struggle, we had to stress for three times. the staff often did not wear the mask, the owners never. a minimum cover, the napkins not existing, but make it pay 2€ each. with the aperitif they brought an extra dish with some goats we had already and therefore provisionally we had left it. the staff came to pick him up after ten minutes he had been laid on our table, saying they had brought him by mistake and had to go to another client. I think this drawback should be handled differently. a little professional. account: if you order an aperitif in which are included appetizers and cocktail, I don't have to pay aside what I drank!"
