"We had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend. When we first came in, we were greeted and it felt clean and welcoming. In a position to see the ingredients and the oven is fun and have excited us to taste the pizza. We ordered the mushrooms and Margherita pizza- both fantastic! We also tried the meatballs and Kaprese salad, Nabenbälle loved and the salad was very good. Not a big fan of the seating area, as it is super loud and sounds terrible with family seats. It is a self service, but at the top for a date night. Not quite ideal. There are some parking spaces on the street in front of the restaurant, but you need to circle the block a few times as the area tends to busy. It's in a large part of downtown. You can go to dessert and a few streets over you? to Central. Very recommended for a fresh pizza in downtown!"

"I have eaten at Athenian Gardens on 22nd several times. For the most part the food is amazing. Entrees I have ordered were excellent. Sadly, the Greek salad is reliably poor. They seem to use packaged salad mix, canned beets, and once they used mozzarella cheese instead of feta. One time there was no cheese at all. Go ahead and eat here, just be aware that the salad might not be what you expect."
