"A small place link and you would miss it but well worth visiting. I am staying with friends who had eaten there before and highly recommended it. We phoned and left a message asking for a reservation, were called back pretty quickly however for the night in question it was not to be however.......We dropped by this lunchtime early aiming to east some calamari and to also take an order back home with us, the chef said he only had enough prepared fish at the time to do a single super sized portion so we opted to take that to go.Wow was it delicious, care had been taken to pack the calamari so the food stayed hot and the coating on the calamari remained crispy. The dish was tasty and flavoursome and the accompanying tomato and garlic dipping sauce was delicious. So based upon my friends eating in experience and our great take out I would recommend this small eatery."

"So my wife and I spent the evening at London Chef taking a cooking class. It was billed as 'evening in Tuscany' and cost $190 per couple. There were 7 couples - which is a full house. The evening started with the chef (I assume he's a chef) making a bruschetta which we all shared as an appy. It was basically a few baguettes sliced up, drizzled with olive oil, and covered with reduced onions, mushrooms, sugar and balsamic with kale spread all over it. It tasted fine but it was presented very messily. He claimed to be trying to make it 'rustic' but it came across more as just lazy presentation. The next course was home made tagliatelle which was, in fact, linguini. We made the dough, rolled it out, and covered it with the most basic tomato sauce possible - cooked down tomatos with garlic, basil, and salt. All in all there was perhaps $3 in ingredients in this course. The final course was a meal-in-a-pan. Chicken breasts browned then sauteed with onions, asparagus, sage, pancetta and herb butter. Total cost per couple - maybe $15. It was an unimpressive dish.It was a more or less fun evening thanks mostly to the fact that we went with two other couples. But as far as 'cooking lessons' that would be stretching the description quite a bit. Perhaps if you'd never set foot in a kitchen before then this might be considered educational but otherwise it was strictly kitchen fundamentals 101. To be honest if our 3 couples had taken the $570 we spent between us and gone out instead we could have gone a LOT further and with wine (no wine with this) and desert than what we got out of this meal/class.Perhaps we chose a class that catered too much to beginners - I'm not sure. I don't know that we would trust another $190 to a more 'advanced' class, though."

"I just ordered (again) the Gyros and it continues to the very best I have ever had! My wife likes the chicken and Greek salad which is also very good but the Gyros pita is my favorite!"

"Great food! I like the pierogies (of course) and cabbage rolls. The sauerkraut soup is also a favourite of mine. Healthy food with no preservatives. Recommended."
