"We dined at La Forge last night and it was fantastic beyond words . We with a Kit Royal and a small sampling was provided courtesy of the Chef. We decided to order the chateaubriand that took 40 minutes for preparation. It was well worth...the wait, and we enjoyed taking photos of the unique interior. What a surprise for me the person who eats red meat once a year. Perfectly cooked medium rare , and accompanied by a light sauce and vegetables that were no doubt farm to table. We had the specialty of the house dessert that we shared .The Millefille layered to perfection with a puff pastry filing and a delightful topping. The chef brought to us a wonderful digestive and our 3 hour dinner was complete. We enjoyed it so much that we made a reservation for the night before we depart to Avignon. Our wine from the Provence region was Saint Hilaire 2014 cuvée One edition limited' . I can not say enough about how beautifully the wine blended with our meal just as we had planned!"
