"Aside from the service being a tad on the slow side and the waitress that served us being about as animated as a damp sock, my girlfriend and I had a very pleasant experience until it came to paying the bill. Once the bill...had arrived at our table the manager then came to collect our plates. Whilst he did this I told him that the pizza I had just had was 'perfect ' (as it was genuinely one of the best pizzas I have ever ordered) to which he shouted 'MERCI BEAUCOUP! ' in an exaggerated english accent. He then collected the neighbouring french couple 's plates and sarcastically asked them 'was it perfect? was it incredible? was it just wonderful? '. My sympathies go the the chef as his talent in the kitchen was completely overshadowed by an unprofessional jeb end today. If you do end up going here I 'd recommend the anti pasti and the la frienze pizza but just a word of warning don 't compliment the food as the staff don 't seem to like that and if you 're British probably best to find somewhere else. Il est pas parfait."

"Visited for weekday lunch. Chose three course plat du jour. Choice of two starters (ham and goats cheese quiche or a chicken innards dish) Main of chicken stuffed with chorizzo, served either with frites or boiled potatoes and green beans. Multitude of choices for dessert (we had a pear tart, a creme brulee and a marscapone and exotic fruit concoction - all were delicious). With three beers and one coffee the bill was less than 50 euros.It was a beautiful sunny day and so we ate on the front terrace. One member of staff spoke very good English, much better than our French, but all the staff attempted to communicate with good humour.Well worth a stop if you're in Clisson for the Friday market or to visit the castle. This is a locals eaterie, but although it is not set up to cater for tourists we were warmly welcomed and very well fed!"

"Visited Clisson and chose this restaurant for lunch as the menu looked interesting. I'm very happy. Had the 3 course set menu that had much to choose. The food was amazing, delicious and beautiful presented. We talked about it. The cook can really cook. The service of all employees was impeccable. Service with many smiles. Also in the restaurant all the other diners seemed as happy as we did. We cannot recommend this restaurant very much. We're definitely going back."
