"Have visited this restaurant over the years and it's been good and not so good. However the new chef has turned it around to fantastic.The waiter was welcoming and helpful when deciding on the lunch menu and wine. We were not disappointed ...Our choices, for 3 of us was duck, liver, and tuna and oh my goodness all cooked to perfection.. presented professionally by the chef and the waiter...and with good humor. A real welcome. Our dessert did not let the meal down and have the coffee it's what finishes the meal.?I avoided La Bastide last year but OMG it will be my first point of call in September.Well done Chef and co xx"
