"We went to Tom 's today and came away irritated and feeling ripped off. It took 40 mins for 2 sausage sandwiches and a poached eggs on toast to come out. When the order finally arrived, we were presented with vegan sausages (not what we ordered) and when I queried it I was cheerfully told 'oh sorry I put them through as vegan, they taste the same though '. Offered a replacement which in theory would have been fine but I couldn 't wait another 30-40 mins for food. So pressed on and ate the vegan sausage sandwiches...well...they most definitely don 't taste the same (quelle surprise) and when I opened the ciabtta there were two thin sausages cut in half. £9.25 for two sausages, onion chutney and a ciabatta...are you kidding me. Nothing else on the plate apart from some peas shoots, and seeds. Moving on to the poached egg...they were like boiled eggs, luckily my young daughter was happy, no one else would have been. The chips were like those that you 'd have in a cheap cafe, all air and no flavour. Now I do have to say that because of the mix up, they funded the sandwiches and by this point I couldn 't face talking to them about the eggs and chips. However if I had received either the correct order or indeed had in fact ordered vegan sausages it would not have been good. It was a good reminder of why not to eat anything substantial here, maybe an overpriced coffee/tea and a croissant/cake but there are plenty of better places to eat."

"I've been coming here since I was a little girl, it's always clean and staff always efficient and friendly. First time I used the table service by scanning the QR code and it was was easy and quick service, the lad who served me also grabbed my cutlery and condiments for me as I had the dog with me who would have lost his mind if I'd left him outside while I went to get them! Really helpful considering they were busy! I paid £10.40 for cup of tea, scrambled egg on toast and 2 extra Sausages (for the dog) which is a little high in comparison to local cafes around town, knowing If I bought the children with me, I'd be looking at £30/£40 for breakfast makes me squirm lol but I'd go back so?....plenty of seating indoors and outside and what more could you want having breakfast in the sun listening to the crashing waves! Bliss!! There are public toilets between the cafe and carpark, parking is really reasonable and takes cash or card! It's a pebble beach but always clean and really good for dog walks or spending a few hours with family!"

"Perfectly good place for a meal. Wasnt planned,just showed up,didnt have to wait more than 2 mins to be seated. Food was good,service was good and the prices of our meals was reasonable,i expected it to cost more but was pleasantly surprised. Will be going again this week."
