"A GREAT French restaurant with very reasonable prices; I ate at the one in Washington, DC, but there are two in NYC as well. [hidden link] . The French dip steak sandwich and frites were amazing, and they have a great dessert menu. The crepes suzette were very impressive, they flambed them for you tableside. I would definitely go back."

"I am OBSESSED. This is the closest thing I've seen in DC that reminds me of a New York Bodega. I passed by this on the street and stopped inside. The options from American Breakfast platters to sandwiches (egg sandwiches, wraps, subs, etc) really was a piece of nostalgia for me. And one of the best parts is... it's not overpriced. I got the Whiting fish sandwich. They are generous with their portions. I got 2 pieces of Whiting fish for 7 dollars (and they added a little bit more also) which was absolutely incredible. The tartar sauce was one of my favorites. I also got the potato salad and wolfed it down. I think I found my new spot to go to. Go and support this place. I believe it's a small-owned family business. The food is amazing and you will NOT regret it."

"Located off the beaten path on quiet 9th St, this charming restaurant offers uniformly good Vietnamese food and reasonable prices. Every dish we had was delectable, and I highly recommend the Cha Gio Re (Waffle Spring Rolls) with its special crispy skin, and the Banh Khot (Crispy Vietnamese mini prawn pancakes). The accompanying veggies (mint and pickled daikon and carrots) were a bit on the sparse side. My only disappointment (accounting for the 4 stars instead of 5) was the fact the restaurant had run out of Bun Cha Ha Thanh, a dish I was looking forward to trying. Service was excellent, thanks to our friendly and knowledgeable waitress Kim. Street parking was not too hard to find nearby."

"Yesterday I went to Granny's Kitchen Food Truck and purchased the Chicken Cheese Pimento Pasta, Collard Greens and Blueberry Crunch. Everything was delicious and I will definitely return for more!! Also the young people who served me were very personable, polite and engaging which was certainly refreshing."
