"Waited a bit for a table, which is no big deal. But while I was waiting, I was reading their chalk boards around the cash register. And saw something I really wanted! So, when we got seated, he offered us menus, but I said, No, I don 't need one. Then I placed my order. Which they didn 't have. It was WRITTEN IN CHALK! How hard is it to erase CHALK if you 're out of something??? Needless to say, that set the tone for this meal. I ordered Biscuits and Gravy with over easy eggs. MEH. I don 't remember what hubby had. Would not go back. I believe that before a server says ANYTHING, they should report what they don 't have. It was WRITTEN IN CHALK! I remember what hubby had now. He had a salad but he had to remove a large amount of the lettuce from it because it had brown edges."
