"I have been meaning to review this lovely restaurant for quite sometime. My last visit to it was back in early March of this year. First, this is a family owned business that has been in Chaves for many, many years. The lady proprietor is warm and friendly, one truly feels welcomed entering Jing Hua. Smaller Portuguese cities can be tough for vegetarians, and I found this to be the case in Chaves as well. As I explained this situation, she understood immediately and was able to accommodate me with some meatless dishes.I had a veggie stir-fry with rice, cooked to perfection along with a veggie Lo-Mein on another visit. The inside decor was very tasteful and the dining room is clean, large and airy. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're vegetarian. The food is good and the owners are the best."
