"The perfect brunch place! I think it was Yolanda who took superb care of us. I noticed other staff treating the tables around us like family/friends/ regulars . They took time to swap stories and check in on how they were doing/what they had planned for the day in addition to keeping the food coming and the drinks filled. The service was quick, but we didn 't feel rushed whatsoever. The menu had a variety of options for breakfast or lunch. The inside decor was inviting and homey."

"Went back here again tonight with my dad and my stepmother and we had an amazing meal. The blood orange Margarita was soooo good. Everything was perfect. The waiters were very friendly and so was the owner. Love this place can’t wait to come back again. Amazing food, amazing service from staff! Worth the price! The calamari is a must try and the portions is HUGE! Loved the special hundy curry and my dad loved the hariyali halibut. Drinks were strong and tasty. The place is beautiful and the seatings are nice. Definitely worth a trip"

"This diner is a gem I love the 1950's style decor nice comfortable booths to sit in. You feel like you've stepped back in time, nostalgia feeling. Super clean diner. Their Coconut French Toast is divine you must try it. My friend loved her pancakes. Great diner in Darien."

"We strolled in on a busy Sunday afternoon and were impressed! The Sugar Bowl is FANTASTIC. Why? It's simplicity and quick service. We ordered a patty melt, pancakes with eggs over easy and bacon. A simple, common breakfast and yet we were met with such hospitable service. Our coffee cups were never empty and our table was always attended! The ONLY downfall of this wonderful restaurant is their parking! Other than that, everything was impeccable! The Sugar Bowl is wonderfully placed should consider expanding because it is charming and presents wonderful and distinctive service!"
