"Popped here with a couple of friends for a catch up. Plenty of seats, but service when ordering from the app was initially slow, due to only 2 on duty. Cheap eats and drinks. Good for the price. However some of the seating could do with refurbishment and the tables have gone back to being too close together making it awkward to get around, but hey ho don't go as regularly as did pre covid19."

"Our first time sitting in the restaurant following on from a takeaway 12 months ago. Stunning decor really added to the ambiance, attentive staff that were extremely friendly and helpful and the most amazing food served up generously in size and bursting with flavours. Top marks all round and we can't wait to come back."

"I am a hot breakfast eater and on my trip to bridlington I asked a place where the best local caffe was for an breakfast and the boathouse was recommended. they do not take card payments. in the inner is very old-fashioned and they have to wait 5 minutes, etc. because they eat freshly cooked. definitely recommend this place. beautiful dame served me and made the perfect cup tee. extremely good price with consideration of her tees is included."

"We go regularly, eat well served on time. the experience would be sorted out by a personal, one of the older employees is in the round a liability they see, responding to other reviews apologized for them! Why don't they just keep them in the back? like a dark cloud that will affect how much they enjoy their meal. this place was in bride earlier, he is torn off by a coworker."

"I have been to peppered pig a couple of times but years ago and really enjoyed it so suggested we booked to go for a girls meal out. There were 8 of us. The service were very poor, I wouldn’t mind if it were busy but there was only a couple other people in there, quite shocking for a Saturday night. Waited ages for drinks then had to get up and find the waitress to order more drinks, tables were not cleared very well, long blonde hair found in the fish batter. Menu very poor, simple and boring, not the menu it was when I visited a couple of years ago. The cheese board looked like it had been hacked at and huge slabs of cheese were served. The cheese and the fish incidents both happened to my chef friend who owns her own business and she wasn’t very impressed. I won’t be returning, which is a shame because the setting is beautiful. The restaurant has massively gone down hill."
