"This review is much overdue, but our experience was really great, and we felt it necessary to recognize this restaurant! When we arrived, we felt like family. Wendell greeted us with a friendly smile, and the manager, Brandy, sat down. She was like a sun ray! Wendell was a great server He knew the menu like the back of his hand, and each item of the service was directly on target! The food was also fresh and delicious. It was a really great experience in every respect. This has completely changed my opinion of Denny's!!! Thank you."

"It was late, the family was hungry. The drive-thru attendant at Jack in the Box just quit. Kids are crying. Let's go to IHop. It looked sketchy so late, but the kids... Wow, once we entered we were greeted promptly service was fast and friendly. Our server, and the manager were super professional. This is near midnight, and we got better service and food than I get at some other breakfast places Sunday Morning. Maybe making the outside more inviting for late night family customers. Would make 5 stars, but still everything inside was great."

"I went because they offered free pancakes for veterans on Veterans Day. I am grateful for that. I know that isn't something they have to or need to do so I am grateful. The service was adequate. The young man waiting on us was polite, respectful, pleasant, and professional. The food was good, average. We had the free pancakes with fruit topping and they were good. Waffles, eggs, and bacon. Everything was good, average, about what you would expect at an IHOP. Thanks again for the providing that too veterans. I saw quite a few in there taking advantage of the offering."

"Eat with a good friend... didn't feel like cooking ..and we met good old joe..he was the checkout for the day. He had great customer service skills, made us feel like we really knew him and he knew us... We'll chat awhile then order... so everything was said it was a big day lol.."

"First time visiting and was pleasantly surprised the eggs benedict were very well done. I ordered the Texas Coast Benedict. Eggs were perfectly poached with a nice creamy yolk with crab cakes that really flavorful but lacked much crab meat. Definitely will be back. Service was somewhat attentive but wish they would have kept up better with my tea refills."

"We visited Real Texas Cafe for the 1st time yesterday evening for dinner and were satisfied with the menu offerings. The decor is nothing extravagant, but the food more than makes up for that. We were seated immediately and had our drink orders taken by a kind young man. There were only two waitresses on duty, so there was a bit of a wait to order, but our food didn't take long to arrive once we had ordered. The entrees for dinner are served with a side salad, rolls, and 2 sides. The salad is nothing fancy but it was good! The entrees were very generous in portion size, and we ended up taking about half home for another meal. We did order dessert to go, and that is the only thing I would say was not exactly what I had thought it would be. The strawberry pie didn't have a strawberry filling under the topping it was more of a whipped strawberry filling, and I was thinking it would have been whole strawberries. Oh well, it was still good! Will definitely be making a return visit. I would definitely rank the food alongside CB, just without the store and kitschy decor."

"This review is more about the server than eating. don't get me wrong, it's good to eat, but if they were to bring back the cinnamon pancakes, it would be excellent. please ask for demetrius if you want an excellent service, and a friendly and funny server. my sister, and I'm going in there, and he always punched us. he is only very personal. good work ihop at the employment demetris. it is refreshing to see that a young person is proud of her job. kudos to you demetrius!"
