"We were already late for lunch for the French hours and they attended us. The gentleman who attended us knew the basics of English so we could understand each other. Seeing that the cook was an older lady knew we were going to be happy about it because it was going to be real homemade food. We ordered a salad that had a fried egg, which we had not tried before, and it was very good (since we asked for salad in francia I lacked olive oil.) then we asked for a simple galette that was delicious. We were very happy.If we returned to fougeres, we would return to this place for a galette."

"To us the manager was sitting there drinking champagne. She welcomed us without any smile or hello. made the head because we had a stroller and was not sure to have room (since the restaurant included only 4 customers. excessively expensive price for few trims. flat crêpe ... frozen and not artisanal. for 4 people we had for nearly 90€ without inters and without drinks. Besides, the person at the counter makes it easy to slam the glasses to make us go faster. hair in the pan while the cook is bald .... really deplorable to flee and not pleasant at all."

"We arrived at Chateau Du Bois-Guy (See separate review) early evening on a Sunday and we needed a hot meal - We drove in into Fougeres in the vague hope of finding somewhere open other than MacDonald's. Fortunately, we glimpsed a restaurant open with customers outside. The restaurant was interesting in it's décor, retro sixties the best I can guess at with vinyl singles on the wall, and hats of all description. The menu was Galettes and Crepes. After our panic we were happy with this. Service was fun and prompt and the food quite delicious. We had a 50cl. pitcher of local Val de Chevre, really decent, cold and refreshing. Both of us had seafood Galettes, Salmon and leak and the other with red snapper. As customers drifted away we felt obliged to order more so went both had Crepes - Again these were excellent I opted for the Normande which consisted of Apples marinated in calvados with Cidre Ice-cream - the other crepe arrived in flaming calvados! This was all washed down with a small pitcher of local Cidre served in small cups. The location of TItou' Ann is fairly central near the Best Western Hotel. If you are visiting I recommend the restaurant if all your looking for is something light. And the bill - €42."

"We stopped in this crêperie. very good reception, servers and waitresses very friendly and pleasant. we took some salty and sweet pancakes and everything was fresh and very good. I strongly recommend this establishment."

"Very convenient location, but obviously oriented for tourist. we had bavette de boeuf, which was called tender, but was actually unusable. a mountain of chips came with it. when we told the owner how poor it was, they just shoved their shoulders....Waiting staff very helpful."

"We were 9 and wanted to drink a shot on the terrace, enjoy the sun and the castle of ferns just in front but we were more than disappointed. the waitress, without a look at us, refused to serve us on the pretext that she was alone and that there were too many people. So we didn't insist because it was already quite amazing like that. It's 9 in less. It's not professional at all. I said there were 3-4 empty tables on the terrace that we could have gathered ourselves. very disappointing especially to finish such a beautiful day."

"This is hidden in the old medaeval town below the castle. It was one of the more expensive creperies we visited in Brittany but the price was worth it. I very muched enjoyed my Onion Crepe. Local cider served in pottery cups. We ate inside but there is an outside area. One of the very few places we discovered a high chair and changing facilities during our stay. Pleasant and efficient service."
