"A regular here for several years, I cannot imagine a trip to Copenhagen without brunch at Sokkelund on a weekend. A gentle stroll through Frederiksberg Have and out the north gate and you're there for the most civilised and tasty bunch on town. Great decor. Service is often good in Copenhagen but Sokkelund's is exceptional and the set brunches are generous. Variation and trying new places is always exciting but so is finding a gem to return to again and again and again...."

"We had a great visit to the restaurant. the kitchen is a mix of Nordic food and Mediterranean inspirations. the starter cocktails were well done and the selection was good. we had a four-course menu and had difficulty ending it. large portions for the hungry person. two courses would be sufficient for most. the meals were simple, but well designed and the good and fresh ingredients were displayed prominently. at the end of the evening the music was turned to a level and a young audience stood for drinks outside. worth a visit."

"Well it's just good. Good old food. A proper win boy well with accessories, they can usually always find food for 2 quick eating guys and it is always the same good quality. Great food and good quality, and good taste."

"When booking this place, make sure you put you at the second floor, not in the rooms 1,2,3,4. You might end up among drunk clients of tbe restaurant which is the part of this hotel. Toilets and bathroom are shared between many rooms plus other people from the restaurant who also go there! Often there is no hot water in the shower so you have to do it with icy cold water! In the winter! The smell of smoking is every morning and very strong despite of being prohibited. The rooms are very beautiful and nice thats why I put two . Otherwise think twice. Not a good experience."

"VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. The sandwich with avocado and hummus was extremely expensive, considering the scarce quality of the food and the small size of the portion. Serving raw food does not add up anything to the cost of a meal. Additionally, the girl behind the desk was very impolite when taking the orders. In the end, she told me to wait for my sandwichat the table, and when the food was ready she just left it there lying next to the kitchen without saying anything. Not recommended at all."
