"While we arrived during the last hour of its opening hours and most things were sold out, we had a good time and the food was very tasty. Staff was very nice and welcoming. It took some time for the food to arrive, but it was worth it."

"The pancakes are tasty and fluffy, however I did not like the eggy taste too much. There's a good selection of flavors which is always a plus. The pancakes take a while to prepare but I think the wait is worth it. They're very filling too so make sure you have room for it!"

"Eggs Benedict and BLT were pretty delicious. Some critics don't seem sharp on pancakes and waffles, but this is an American thing and we didn't try them. Many other things to choose on the menu. Eggs were wonderfully cooked and the bacon was made right. Nice cup of coffee. As always, service and personnel were excellent. It started to fill 10, but they also have an upper floor. Why someone who previously saw here would list a straw in your drink as a conne is beyond me."

"Itadakizen Kyoto is part of a big group that manage professionally different restaurant around the world and considering the huge investment for the place, the training of the staff and the marketing, they really can't go wrong! Very standard and easy to make food, but i understand that for many tourist is the perfect place for vegan Japanese food in Kyoto."

"Wow, what a great experience! The hosts were so nice that they extended their opening time to accommodate us. We waited outside in the heat for 30 min because the house was full and yet we enjoyed every min of our lunch: okonomiyaki is prepared in front of you, as usual, yet here you feel like at home, welcome. Food smells delicious, and tastes even better! Don't miss this place and their lovely hosts, when you are around for a genuinely authentic experience. Bonus: they kindly explain you how to eat their dishes so you do it like locals do."
