"Pretty average food, the cookie dough wasn’t great and was extremely sickly. There food is also very overpriced ,I could have made it better at home for a lot cheaper."

"Love independent italian on the hill with an inviting mood. the decor inside is beautiful and although not the spacious escaping it with it with the friendly atmosphere away. the orderings were quickly taken by the brilliant staff and the service was also fast. the menu is large and has something for everyone. the clam starter was brilliant, with a super sauce, good portion size and lemon water dish for finger cleaning. pizzas as porn were again a good size, with the beats not vaccinated and well cooked. the tiramisu desert was promised to be the best in lincoln, and she lived until the claim! huge part, well presented and unforgettable for all the right reasons. the prices were appropriate for the employment and the level of the service, and I would like to come back next time in the opposite!"

"Attended my friends wedding reception here. Buffet was lovely, plenty for everyone, and when asked, they even did something else for a guest who was vegetarian. Staff friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"Had breakfast with my daughter at Stokes for her birthday in September, it was so good we visited again today as we were at the top of Lincoln. The Lawn has great parking and good disabled access. The full English was tasty and filling, served hot by lovely, friendly and helpful staff. The coffee was perfect. The cake choice looked amazing too. Highly recommend Stokes at the Lawn for a relaxed friendly atmospheric breakfast."

"I’ve given two stars only because it’s a fully vegan establishment. On the day we visited (4.3.23) both Happy Cow and Facebook info stated open until 5pm so we were not happy when arriving before 4pm to be told they were closing at 4. It’s no fun after travelling from Sheffield and walking for ages to find the info provided is incorrect. When the staff were advised of the incorrect opening times they seemed unconcerned. Updated from previous review on 2023-03-05"

"Now! what a hidden gem! words can not describe how tasty eating is here! there is no other caffe in lincoln like it! full taste, fresh ingredients and good portions! as a massive coffee fan I would say that coffee is probably the best I had! it is smooth and delicious! the personal, are well presented and courteous! they can say a popular caffe as when people come, they are welcomed how friends not only customers! this caffe has now become my favorite to go! so much so that I have been three times this week (whoops)! many thanks for the bribe something unique and delicious to lincoln :p :d"

"Visited on a Saturday morning for brunch, place was very busy due to its location on Lincoln high street but a table was available. Service was quick but we did not feel rushed. Food was very good and the menu was extensive A little pricey but this reflects the location"

"Singapore dish was tasteless, found one slice of green chilli pepper in the while dish.., lemon chicken turn up as pineapple chicken. Was rude and disorganized on the phone. Will not be returning. Very disappointed with the food."
