"That was a real sound! mine man and I had a rare date night and were treated to a really delicious firm of delicious vegetarian tasty. I was a ted worried that he would be disappointed because there was no meat, but he loved it, which says a lot about chef martin burke chef. with us an aperitif in the set menu was a beautiful note and it was delish. rebecca and her team were charming and very attentive. we will certainly return, so they will keep us on going."

"Nice little pub in the centre of the town. It like many of the Wetherspoon pubs is an old converted shop and there are various photos of it in it's past life. There's parking close by but prices vary from free on street, if you can find a space to expensive (compared to other local towns) in the town hall car park. Great range of beers and various local historical stories and pictures, including the eccentric squire. Worth a visit during shopping trips to the town."

"Decided to go for a meal as we were celebrating my birthday, so the three of us, a good mate and the wife decided we should try the Dragon King in Letchworth. It is a buffet style Chinese restaurant, and the place was......empty. The owners seemed friendly enough even enthusiastic. Having a look at the buffets contents we thought their will be more food coming out. Wrong! That was it. All but 3 of the ban maries were empty or had just scraps of food left in them, bearing in mind their were at least 30 ban maries. Rather than cause a scene we picked at the scraps and went back to our table. The food was bland and cold, and we were pretty hungry but could not bring ourselves to tuck in. I went over to the bar area to pay and the bill came to £65! I dont often complain but hey, this was warranted. I said the food was cold and nearly non existant and straight away the owners deducted £20, no questions asked. As we were about to leave the same owner presented us with 2 bottles of house beer, So in effect our bill came to £35. Have to assume each bottle of beer costs £5. The food, if that's what it was went untouched. Do i have anything positive to say about it? Hell no. A disgrace in every respect. A takeaway would of set us back £25, would of been steaming hot and much more enjoyable. To sum up, this place is just plain awful. Will we give it another chance? Not a chance in hell."

"We have visited this cafe several times before and we’re always pleased. The vegan breakfast with beans was fantastic when ordered before. Today however we waited half an hour for breakfast, beans have been taken off the breakfast and generally it was tasteless and cold. £13 for breakfast is not cheap, sadly we were let down and shall not be returning, lots of other cafes and restaurants in the are that were packed out today….Chia not so busy as it usually is, perhaps people feel the same as me? Fresh juice was good, but should be at £6 a pop."
